Mercy High School is a diverse educational community, founded by the Sisters of Mercy, focusing on academic excellence and inspiring young girls to become confident women of Mercy who embody faith, knowledge and compassionate service. Our vision is to be Omaha’s most dynamic Catholic High School, shaping women of faith and purpose into the courageous leaders our world needs. We believe in nurturing each student’s spiritual growth while inspiring her to live out empathy and service in her daily life. Through prayer, reflection and meaningful service opportunities, girls grow into confident women who lead with integrity.

Students in 7th and 8th grade, as well as transfer students, are invited to schedule a Shadow Day at Mercy. During the visit, a Mercy Student Ambassador—or a student you request—will guide visitors through classes, lead a school tour, and join them for lunch.

Students in 6th grade are invited to participate in a Spring Shadow Visit beginning in January 2027, alongside our 7th and 8th grade students. Please complete this form, and a member of our Admissions Team will follow up with you shortly!

Affording Mercy High School

Our goal is simple: no girl should be denied a Mercy education because of her family’s financial situation. That’s why we are committed to making tuition accessible for more families through our long-standing Negotiated Tuition program, which considers each family’s unique circumstances. We work with you directly to determine a tuition amount based on income, family size and financial need—ensuring that a Mercy education remains within reach.
